Roxana believes that the best deals can only be reached by understanding the business reasons and the value of communication. As a result, she is passionate about challenging matters and sees herself as a strategic ally of her clients to close deals and achieve their goals.
Her work focuses on mergers and acquisitions in various industries, structuring and development of real estate projects, private equity investments, negotiation of joint ventures and corporate and real estate financing. She has experience in civil aviation transactions, both in acquisition and financing.
Roxana has built her career at Galicia. She joined the Firm as a law clerk and is now a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate practices. She was the first woman to become a Partner in both practice groups and is deeply committed to supporting the professional development of women lawyers, both within the Firm and across the legal profession.
She worked as a foreign associate at Sullivan and Cromwell in New York City.
Roxana obtained her law degree with honors at Universidad Iberoamericana. She also received the Ceneval Excellence-EGEL award. She holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and received the Harlan Fiske Stone award.
In the academic sphere, she has served as an examiner for the postgraduate program in Mergers and Acquisitions at Escuela Libre de Derecho and has lectured as part of the Cátedra Galicia program at Universidad Panamericana.
Roxana has been recognized by various publications, including The Legal 500 Latin America and Chambers Latin America Guide, in M&A and Real Estate practices.
